Healthy Snacks and Desserts!

I wanted to share with you my go to snacks and occasional desserts. These snacks limit sugar and processed ingredients in them. Please remember to look at the serving sizes/calories whether it is fruits and vegetables or other items not on this list. 

 

The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends men should consume no more than 9 teaspoons (36 grams or 150 calories) of added sugar per day. For women, the number is lower: 6 teaspoons (25 grams or 100 calories) per day. I personally aim for less than 10 grams excluding fruits and vegetables.
